NOTICE
The committee has adopted the following rules and regulations that apply to the maintenance of the Dierks Cemetery. These apply to both the old and new parts of the cemetery.
The committee has determined the following objects hinder the maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery.
Please do not place the following items on or around the grave plots.
1. Glass items (vases, Etc.)
2. Wire, plastic or metal fencing.
3. Timber borders.
4. Bricks (scalloped or plain) except where erosion may occur. (See committee President)
5. Concrete blocks.
6. Rocks (white or otherwise).
7. Sand (except for fill)
8. Flint Rock.
9. Do not plant trees or bushes.
10. No Benches.
Items already in place may remain. Some of these items are a danger to the people who maintain the cemetery and are in the way of mowers and weedeaters. They do not have time or should not be expected to keep the grave plots weed free, if they are covered with objects.
All flowers that are faded and torn (from the past year) will be removed and discarded when the cemetery cleanup is done the last of April.
Flowers that have been recently placed on graves (recent burials) will be removed when faded and torn if the family does not take care of it.
Maintenance and upkeeping is paid for by donations and are tax deductible. Letters will be sent to all on our mailing list the last of April. We appreciate your donations and corporation.
